Mountain View defending state champion wrestler Austin Scott, who has signed a national letter of intent with Oregon State, wrestled his way to two individual titles of tournaments in January earning himself the Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month honor.
He was victorious at 157 pounds in the Peoria Tournament of Champions (of which he was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler) on Jan. 7-8, and the Tim Van Horn Memorial Invitational at Payson on Jan. 28-29.
Scott improved to 38-0 this season with the championship in Payson.
