Salpointe senior captain Kylee Callahan led Salpointe to an 8-0 record in January, including a near-quadruple-double performance against Cholla on Senior Night Jan. 25, to earn the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month honor.
Callahan scored 27 points and had 10 assists and 10 steals to go along with nine rebounds in the win over Cholla. She also had 26 points against rival Sahuaro in a victory on Jan. 4.
The Lancers are 17-4 overall and 6-0 in the 4A Kino with less than two weeks left in the regular season.
Callahan is averaging a team-best 16.4 points and 3.5 steals a game. She is also averaging 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
