The RSL-AZ Southern AZ 06 team played to a 1-1 draw with Sunrise (Fla.) Soccer Club Sting on Wednesday with Vivien Villarreal scoring the lone game for DesRosier’s team.

The 06 team, with one point after the first two games, is in wait-and-see mode if it can qualify for the semfinals out of its group.

Inter Atlanta FC Blues IAFC 06 Girls has three points with its win over the 06 team on Tuesday. If Inter Atlanta beats Boston NEFC NS Girls 06 on Wednesday night, it would eliminate the 06 team from semifinal contention.

“We had a few late chances and they did as well,” Paul DesRosier stated. “We are obviously disappointed we couldn’t get the three points.”

The 06 team next plays Thursday against Boston NEFC NS Girls 2006 at 8 a.m.
