Raelynn “Rae” Tanori is a standout on Rincon Little League’s 9-11 baseball team, a natural talent on the diamond after playing the sport since she was 3.
In Rincon’s 4-0 run through the District 12 tournament to close the month of June, Rae, a second baseman, was 7 for 9 (.778) with five runs and four RBIs. In the championship victory over Copper Hills, she was 2 for 3 with a run and RBI.
For her performance in the month of June, including the honor of being selected to Rincon’s 9-11 All-Star Team, Rae is the Jet Sports Female Athlete of the Month.
Rae also plays for the Vail Rebels baseball club and was selected an MVP of her 11U team last year after a tournament.
