Pima women tie No. 11 Scottsdale on late goal from Lizzie Walker

The Pima Community College women (1-4-1, 0-2-1 in ACCAC) tied No. 11 ranked Scottsdale Community College 2-2 Tuesday night at the West Campus Aztec Field. The tie snaps a three-game losing streak

Freshman Lizzie Walker (Canyon del Oro) scored with eight seconds left in the game to secure the tie on an assist from Uriah Burrell (Catalina Foothills).

Camila Razcon (Marana) put the Aztecs up 1-0 in the 31st minute with an assist from Solaris Graves (Ironwood Ridge) but the Artichokes tied the game at 1-1 in the 40th minute with a goal by Indi Stum (Gilbert Highland). Scottsdale took the lead with 5:39 left after a goal by Jaden Nelson (Highland).

Pima sophomore Adriana Pacheco (Cienega) finished with seven saves.

The Aztecs return to the West Campus Aztec Field on Saturday to face-off against Glendale Community College at 5:30 p.m.
