Ironwood Ridge senior Dominic Norris passed for 502 yards — a record for a Southern Arizona quarterback — completing 23 of 41 pass attempts with four touchdowns in the Nighthawks’ 37-22 win over visiting Tucson High on Friday night.
The previous record was 477 yards by Trenton Bourguet in a 64-57 win for Marana over Cienega in the 2017 season.
The state record is 756 yards by Mario Armendarez of Phoenix Washington against Avondale Agua Fria in 2015.
