Former Sahuaro standout Alyssa Brown was named Outstanding Rebel of the Week after leading UNLV to a conference championship.
Former Tucson standout Camilla Zepeda (Pima) finished the week going 13 for 20 (.650) at the plate with four home runs, 17 RBI, nine runs scored, one double, one triple and one stolen base and she was 4 for 6 with two homers and seven RBIs against Eastern Arizona College. Zepeda was named ACCAC Player of the Week.
Former San Manuel standout Jazmyne Waddell, a freshman LHP for Pima, pitched 17 innings, giving up one earned one on 14 hits with 16 strikeouts and five walks as she went 3-0 for the week. She pitched a complete-game shutout against Eastern Arizona College, giving up five hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Waddell was named ACCAC Pitcher of the Week.
