Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month: Sunnyside baseball player Orlando Cobarrubias

Sunnyside senior centerfielder/left-handed pitcher Orlando Cobarrubias has compiled an impressive slugging percentage of 1.167 that ranks 29th nationally, according to MaxPreps, and most of that production stems from his powerful performances in March.

Cobarrubias hit all six of his home runs this season in March, including four in his last three games.

His numbers for March: .545 batting average (12 of 22) with two doubles, six home runs and 12 RBIs.

He had a 3-for-3 game with two home runs and two RBIs against Flowing Wells in a 14-6 win on March 26. He also had five runs in that game.

For his performance in March, Cobarrubias is the Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month.
