Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month: Canyon del Oro softball player Amelia Streuber

Canyon del Oro junior pitcher Amelia Streuber, who has committed to Oregon State, won 10 games in April while building her record to 18-0 with a 0.52 ERA this season.

Her numbers in April: 10-0 with 0.47 ERA with 13 hits allowed in 47 innings. She struck out 71 and walked only five.

Overall, she has 142 strikeouts and 15 walks in 121 2/3 innings.

She is the centerpiece of a CDO team that is 32-2, a record that includes a 3-0 mark against a tough Salpointe team.

CDO (No. 3 seed) and Salpointe (No. 4) are in the 4A semifinal round.

For her overpowering performance in April, Streuber is the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month.
