Former Tanque Verde standout Ainsley Malis is an assistant coach and director of operations for Wichita State Volleyball. Ainsley is the daughter of Michelle and A.J. Malis. Michelle was a standout collegiate player at Arizona from 1990-93, where A.J. served as assistant coach for the Wildcats from 2000-03.
Former Nogales softball standout Emerald Grijalva was named head coach of Paradise Valley Community College. Grijalva previously served as both an assistant coach and interim head coach at Mesa Community College. Grijalva tales over for Nick Candrea who retired after taking over the position in 2005.
Former Santa Rita standout Bryce Dempsey was promoted to defensive coordinator for Mercyhurst after coaching the linebackers last year. Dempsey served as a defensive analyst at Notre Dame in 2024.
Former Catalina Foothills golfer Finn Meister helped the Ole Miss men’s golf team win the SEC Championship for the fist time in 41 years. Meister competed in six tournaments as a freshman.
