
Southern Arizona is prominently featured with the Pima Community College softball program’s record of 11 representatives on the All-ACCAC Teams that were released this week.

Pima coach Rebekah Quiroz, a Flowing Wells and Arizona graduate, was selected the ACCAC Division II Coach of the Year for the first time in her career. She had previously been named NJCAA West District Coach of the Year in 2024 and 2025. She led the Aztecs to their first ACCAC Division II Championship, as well as the first time the program will host a Region I Tournament since 2010. She is the first Pima coach to be selected ACCAC Coach of the Year since Stacy Iveson in 2005. She is currently 248-135 in eight seasons after spending the previous 13 seasons as an assistant coach racking up 606 wins.

Pueblo High School
- Sophomore RHP Belen Camacho was named ACCAC Division II Pitcher of the Year. She pitched 115 innings during the regular season, making 30 appearances and going 15-2 with a 2.56 ERA. She led the ACCAC with 155 strikeouts. She made eight starts in the circle with six complete games.
Sunnyside High School
- Sophomore C Amerika Lopez-Bedoy was chosen First Team All-ACCAC. She batted .368 with 50 hits in 136 at-bats with 38 RBIs, 35 runs, 11 walks and 10 doubles in 47 games. She had a flawless fielding percentage of 1.000 with 216 putouts, 17 assists and no errors.
- Freshman INF Soleil Ponce was chosen Second Team All-ACCAC.
She batted .421 with 51 hits in 121 at-bats with 29 RBIs, 25 runs scored, seven doubles and two triples in 43 games played. Ponce had a .980 fielding percentage with 230 putouts and 14 assists.
Tucson High School
- Sophomore INF Jiselle Nunez also made First Team All-ACCAC.
She batted .395 with 45 hits in 114 at-bats with 13 home runs, 55 RBIs, 31 runs and 23 walks in 39 games. Nunez had a .947 fielding percentage with 28 putouts and 62 assists. - Sophomore OF Julissa Lopez made Second Team All-ACCAC.
Lopez batted .387 with 60 hits in 155 at-bats with seven home runs, 54 RBIs, 36 runs scored, 19 walks and 14 doubles in 47 games played. She produced a fielding percentage of .955 with 42 putouts.

Walden Grove High School
- Freshman OF Isabel Rodriguez was selected First Team All-ACCAC.
Rodriguez batted .440 with a team-leading 80 hits in 182 at-bats with 32 RBIs, 53 runs scored, 17 stolen bases, nine doubles and six triples in 51 games played. She had a .974 fielding percentage with 37 putouts.
Canyon del Oro High School
- Freshman RHP Adriana Machado was named Second Team All-ACCAC.
She pitched 90.2 innings during the regular season, going 16-3 with a 4.17 ERA. She made 24 appearances with 22 starts in the circle and nine complete games with 57 strikeouts. - Freshman OF Kayla Hendrix made Third Team All-ACCAC.
She produced a .333 batting average with 38 hits in 114 at-bats with 25 RBIs, 27 runs, 13 walks, nine doubles and eight stolen bases in 45 games. Hendrix had a flawless fielding percentage of 1.000 with 27 putouts.

Mountain View High School
- Sophomore INF Clarissa Figueroa was selected Third Team All-ACCAC.
She batted .380 with 63 hits in 166 at-bats with 38 RBIs. She led the team with 57 runs scored, 30 walks and 21 doubles. Figueroa had a .978 fielding percentage with 59 putouts and 115 assists.
Cienega High School
- Freshman UTIL Isabel Mendoza was named Third Team All-ACCAC.
She batted .336 with 47 hits in 140 at-bats. She finished the regular season with 28 RBIs, 35 runs scored, 18 walks, five stolen bases and four doubles in 50 games played. Mendoza also had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 62 putouts.
The No. 1 seeded Aztecs will open the Region I, Division II Tournament on Thursday against No. 4 Scottsdale. Game time is set for 2 p.m. All games in the Region I, Division II Playoffs will be played at the West Campus Aztec Field.
