DEVELOPMENTS
— Former Arizona right-hander Cam Walty went from Single-A+ to Triple-A to Double-A within the Cleveland Guardians’ farm system in a span of four days. After he was assigned to Triple-A last Friday, he struggled in his lone appearance, allowing three hits and four earned runs with two walks and no strikeouts in one inning of work. He was assigned to Double-A on Monday and pitched for the first time with Akron (Ohio) on Friday night. That was a much better showing, allowing one hit in two innings with four strikeouts and no walks.
