Southern Arizona needs more media days of high school athletics, such as what took place Saturday at Jet Sports Training.
In recent years, TUSD has organized sports media days for its programs, but a citywide event has never taken place. Individual schools such as Marana and Amphi have held their own media days.
BJ Media organized the high school football media day at Jet Sports Training, which included tackle football teams from Buena, Marana, Walden Grove, Mica Mountain, Vista Grande, Salpointe and Tucson, and flag teams from Marana and Casa Grande.
