Sahuaro standout Casey Carnaghi committed to play for Adams State Tuesday night. Despite seeing limited action due to injuries in his junior and senior years, Carnaghi was a force for the Cougars and earned All-Southern Arizona recognition.
“Casey is realizing a dream that started back in Mighty Might wildcat football,” his father Bobby Carnaghi said. “Happy that he gets to play and study Computer Science. Right after Casey committed to offensive coordinator Josh Blankenship the phone rang and it was head coach Timm Rosenbach.
“He expressed how happy they are to have Casey play wide receiver for them. It’s been a blast to watch him grow into a man and get a chance to do want he wants and to do it as a Grizzly!”
