Part of Allonzo Trier’s 21 points in an exhibition game today in Barcelona, Spain, included a dunk that would be on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 if it was a regular season game.
Who knows? Maybe the clip will still make its way to ESPN.
Trier went the distance of the court and finished with a thunderous dunk in the 99-74 pounding of the Mataro All-Stars. The dunk follows another highlight-reel slam he had Sunday in Arizona’s first exhibition in Spain.

Trier also had four rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. Freshman phenom post player Deandre Ayton added 19 points and eight rebounds to help Arizona improve to 2-0 on the tour.
Sophomore wing player Rawle Alkins did not play because of a strained left shoulder. Freshman Brandon Randolph started in his place. The rest of the starters were the same from the first game: Parker Jackson-Cartwright at point guard, Ayton at power forward, Ristic at center and Trier at shooting guard.
Trier tallied 14 points and five rebounds. Randolph finished with nine points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Arizona has three more days and one more exhibition in Barcelona to wrap up their Spanish foreign tour. The Wildcats will play Mataro Parc Boet on Friday at 10 a.m. (MST).
Here is Arizona’s box score from today’s game:
Here are some social media reactions from today’s action:
Sean Miller was practically in the middle of the court arguing a traveling call on Randolph.
Miller in midseason form on court arguing with the refs. Ask Lute Olson, this is needed to help set tone with local refs on foreign ground

Look out for Dylan Smith to be one of those wildcard players who will make Arizona click by the middle of the Pac-12 season.
When the ISO for ZO doesn't work, SHIFT it to Smith 💯 @ISO_ZO @shift_smith10

Not many Pac-12 post players will match up well with Ayton.

Randolph and Ayton played against each other in some marquee national prep-level games last season. Now they can thrive as teammates.
