The Pima baseball team signed six local standouts on Tuesday night. Also, St. Augustine catcher Ariel Jamie signed with Benedictine University at Mesa. It is the inaugural signing class for the new college located in Mesa.

“Knowing Jacob gets the opportunity to continue his education and play college baseball in his hometown is a blessing,” Jacob Federico’s mother Yvonne Carmona-Leon said.
“All of the miles we’ve traveled, no sleep, sitting in 118 degree weather and freezing weather have made this all worth it.”
