Nick Brahler scored four touchdowns in Ironwood Ridge’s thrilling 48-41 double-overtime win over Apollo.

Ironwood Ridge advances to the quarterfinals Friday to face No. 3-seeded Liberty, which beat Campo Verde 28-7 tonight. The game will be at Liberty.

Brahler has scored 25 touchdowns this season.

— Cienega wins 24-6 FINAL
— Cienega advances to the quarterfinals to face Marana in a rematch of the 57-50 thriller won by the Bobcats over the Tigers in Marana on Aug. 25.
— Terrell Hayward put Cienega on the board first with a 75-yard kickoff return for a TD.
— Thomas Webb scored on a 4-yard run to give the Bobcats a 14-0 lead.
— Webb scored again on a fourth-down play from the 7-yard line to put the Bobcats up 21-0.
— Ezra Figueroa kicked a 34-yard field goal to increase Cienega’s lead to 24-6.

No. 9 MARANA (9-2) at No. 8 Verrado (8-3)
— Marana wins 35-33 FINAL
— Marana got on the board first as Trenton Bourguet threw a 19-yard TD pass to Jesus Valenzuela in the first quarter.
— Zach Roberts gave the Tigers a 14-7 lead in the second quarter on a 2-yard run.
— Bourguet again connected on a TD pass with Valenzuela (42 yards).
— Marana’s Tyson Corner returned a blocked punt 17 yards for the score.
— TD by Verrado with less than minute left was followed by a failed two-point conversion

No. 12 MOUNTAIN VIEW (7-4) at No. 5 Queen Creek (9-2)
— Queen Creek wins 48-20 FINAL
— Mountain View QB Josemaria Alacala scored on a 5-yard TD run.
— Josh Hart returned a kickoff 85 yards for a TD to cut Queen Creek’s lead to 21-13.
— Alcala’s fade-pattern pass in the end zone to Hart from 9 yards cut the lead to 28-20.

— Ironwood Ridge wins 48-41 2OT FINAL
— Ironwood Ridge advances to the quarterfinals next Friday to face Liberty, which beat Campo Verde 28-7 tonight. The game will be at Liberty.
— Ironwood Ridge’s A.J. Sandler completed a 32-yard TD pass to Nick Brahler in the second quarter.
— Touchdown runs by Nick Brahler and Jordan Price on consecutive possessions gave Ironwood Ridge a 21-20 lead in the fourth quarter.
— Brahler scored four TDs in the game.

— Salpointe’s Bijan Robinson ran for a 6-yard TD to put the Lancers up 7-0. He later scored on a 10-yard run.
— The Lancers’ Rodrigo Nieto completed a 74-yard TD pass to Andrew Jacobs to increase the lead to 14-0.
— Mario Padilla scored on a 20-yard run to put the Lancers up 21-0. He also scored from 3 yards.

No. 11 CATALINA FOOTHILLS (6-5) at No. 6 Seton Catholic (9-2)
— Seton Catholic wins 29-22 FINAL
— Catalina Foothills QB Chris Kowalcek scored on a 1-yard run to cut the lead to 21-7.
— Kowalcek cut the lead to 21-14 with a 2-yard run with 9:21 left in 4Q
— Catalina Foothills took a 22-21 lead with 1:53 left on Luke Mitchell’s 2-yard run and subsequent 2-point conversion run.
— Seton Catholic retook the lead the 29-22 lead on a TD pass with 15.1 seconds left.

— Peoria wins 33-7 FINAL
— Walden Grove’s Nick Flores tied the game at 7 with his 16-yard TD pass to Jordan Lopez in the first quarter.

No. 14 WILLCOX at No. 3 THATCHER

— Thatcher wins 62-6 FINAL
— Tyler Roebuck scored on a 64-yard run to open the scoring for Thatcher
— Brock Jones had a 20-yard TD run and Bretton Dodge followed with a 35-yard running score.
— Shane Cook scored on a 27-yard run for Thatcher to open the lead to 28-0 early in the second quarter.
— The Eagles built their lead to 35-0 on a 30-yard TD pass from Jack Kortsen to Javan Montoya.
— Riley Morris with a 62-yard scoring run gave Thatcher a 42-0 lead in the second quarter.
— Kortsen also has a 45-yard TD run and Trevino Clark has run it in from four yards in the third quarter.
— McBride scored a TD run from the 1 to increase the lead.
— Thatcher advances to the quarterfinals next week to face the winner between No. 11 San Tan Foothills and No. 6 St. Johns, which will be played Saturday.
