
Canyon del Oro junior outside hitter Alina Nuñez played a big part in the Dorados reaching their first state championship match since 1980. Nuñez led her team with 384 kills with a kill percentage of 49.5. At 5-foot-10, she also had a team-best 34 blocks.
Her accomplishments merit her recognition as the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month for November.
