Brandon Bean Soccer Invitational
Nov. 30-Dec. 2: Salpointe
The Brandon Bean Soccer Invitational is held every year to honor Brandon Bean, a former Salpointe player who passed away in 1992 after an on-field collision at a soccer scrimmage. In addition, the tournament also honors Laura Kea, a former Lancer who died in an auto accident on her way to a soccer tournament.

Andy Morales was recognized by the AIA as the top high school reporter in 2014 and he was awarded the Ray McNally Award in 2017 and he has been a youth, high school and college coach for over 30 years. His own children have won multiple state high school championships and were named to all-state teams.
