Walden Grove LB Sebastian Adamski Commits to FCS program Drake


Walden Grove senior linebacker Sebastian Adamski announced via Twitter today that he is committed to continue his football career at Drake University, a Division I FCS school in the Pioneer Football League.

“I have always dreamed of playing football at the next level,” Adamski wrote in his tweet. “Thank you to all the coaches and recruiters who took a chance on me. With that being said, I will continue my academic and athletic career at Drake University!!”

Adamski, 6-foot and 210 pounds, is coming off a 2019 season in which he had 130 tackles, 11.5 of them for loss. This season, while leading Walden Grove to its first 3-0 start in the program’s nine-year history. Adamski has 30 tackles, 5 for loss with two sacks.

“Honestly, it’s a great program and a great academic school,” Adamski told AllSportsTucson.com about Drake. “I have been recruited by the head coach (Todd Stepsis) for months and the close relationship that I have with him and my linebacker coach (Al Smith) is fantastic and I feel a part of the family.

“Also, I look forward to the ability to compete and help this program get to another level.”

He is the seventh local Class of 2021 prospect to make a commitment. The other commitments:
