Arizona won three out of five games in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., that was completed Saturday with a 10-2 loss against Oklahoma.
The Wildcats are 10-4 overall in the start of the Caitlin Lowe Era heading into Thursday’s game at 5 p.m. against North Dakota at Hillenbrand Stadium. The Fighting Hawks have former Sabino catcher Cassie Castaneda, a junior, on their roster.
Arizona then hosts the Wildcat Invitational Friday through Sunday. The field includes North Dakota, Loyola Chicago, Texas State, Boise State and Iowa State.
Arizona opens with Iowa State at 6 p.m. on Friday followed by doubleheader Saturday against Boise State (4 p.m.) and Texas State (6 p.m.). The Wildcats will complete the games Sunday against Loyola Chicago at 3 p.m.
