Salpointe Class of 2025 standout Taliyah Henderson had a whirlwind June going from playing for Jason Kidd’s AAU select team, to Canada’s tryouts in Toronto, to making the U18 national team, to traveling to Colombia and playing in the AmeriCup and then heading back home to prepare for the bulk of the AAU season in July.
Henderson’s exploits in June, making the Canadian team as the youngest at 17 and starting every game in the AmeriCup, qualifies her for the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month.

In Canada’s six games in Colombia, Henderson, a 6-foot-1 forward, averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds.
