Marana’s flag football team is off to a 5-0 start, including winning its first three games in dominating fashion toward the end of September.

Out of Marana’s many talented players, junior Malaysia Roebuck has been an obvious standout.

The Tigers outscored Desert Ridge, Casa Grande and Mountain View 60-10 in the first three games in September before making a statement with a 28-14 win at Mesa Red Mountain on Tuesday. Marana then beat Surprise Valley View 35-0 on Thursday.

For her overall performance, Malaysia Roebuck is the Jet Sports Training Female Athlete of the Month for September.
