Lute Olson’s wife, Kelly Olson, welcomed her guests for what she relayed was one of the highlights of the Olson family over the last several years. She hoped there would be more camps in the future.
Legendary broadcaster Dave Silver introduced each speaker and the group was excited to hear from assistant coach Jack Murphy along with head coach Tommy Lloyd. Lloyd addressed the alumni specifically at length on honoring their contributions to the program. He spoke about trying to prepare for this group while serving as an assistant at Gonzaga and he answered questions without hesitation from the campers.
The campers can’t wait to get out on the floor this weekend with all the former players including Arizona Women’s Basketball coordinator Briana Felix who will offer her expertise in helping to condition the campers. She will also bring her high tops just in case. Neil Katz is once again the director of officiating for the camp run by Mike Feder and Steve Rivera.
