Former Pusch Ridge standout guard Angel Addleman committed to play for Arizona Christian this past week. Addleman played in 82 games and scored 1,101 career points for Pusch Ridge and she will play her senior season at Palo Verde in order to be closer to her home residence.

“My older daughter Ava graduated and she received a full tuition music and academic scholarship to Arizona Christian. Since Arizona Christian had also been recruiting Angel pretty heavily, it seems like it’s a very good fit for our family,” Angel’s father, former Sabino head coach, Al Addleman said.

“Ava really loves it there and as Angel has come up to visit the campus, participated in a camp, and met the coaching staff, our family is very impressed with them, their mission, their integrity, and the college itself.”

Arizona Christian hired two time NAIA National champion and Coach of the Year Rusty Rogers in May. Former Marana standout Baylee Slaughter averaged 4.5 points a game as a freshman for ACU last year.

Also a track standout, Addleman took third place in the Division IV 400 and triple jump for the Lions last year.
