Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month: Catalina Foothills senior golfer Chase Cesarek


Catalina Foothills senior Chase Cesarek is the highest-rated boys golfer in Southern Arizona at No. 3 in the state in Division II (Andy Morales/AllSportsTucson.com)

Catalina Foothills’ boys golf team is ranked No. 1 overall and among Division II programs, and the highest rated among them is senior Chase Cesarek at No. 3 in the state.

The Falcons have a talented team that includes accomplished junior Zachary Schaefer and sophomores Oliver de Guia, Alex Ramos and Parker Servoss.

Schaefer is rated No. 5 in the state among Division II players.

Cesarek, who is committed to continuing his career at Utah Tech, entered this school year coming off a third-place finish in the PING Invitational July 29-30 at Grand Canyon University’s course.

His victory at the Brophy Rodeo Invitational held at Grayhawk Raptor Course at Scottsdale has boosted his high ranking in the state.

For his overall performance this fall, Cesarek is the Jet Sports Training Male Athlete of the Month for September.
