Arizona, ASU, Utah and a number of other schools, including Kansas, are pursuing Lightfoot, who originally committed to New Mexico but opened his recruiting earlier this year.
“With all of these schools, I want to try to find the right fit for me and where I’ll feel at home,” he said.
Although Lightfoot has visited Arizona’s campus unofficially numerous times over his life, he wants to see Miller and Co.’s official presentation. He will set up an official visit to the campus most likely in September.
“I want to compare the unofficial visit to the official visit,” he said. “I feel like they don’t get a chance to wine and dine me on an unofficial visit. I want to take the official visit to find out what program is all about.”
