[tps_title]JOSH MILLER[/tps_title]

[tps_header]Arizona punter 1990-1992[/tps_header]

Overlooked as a pivotal player during Arizona’s Desert Swarm years, punter Josh Miller was responsible for giving the Wildcats’ vaunted defense plenty of field to work with.

Miller also meets the criteria for the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame with his All-American selection as a senior. He was a first team All-America selection by The Sporting News and the Football Writers Association of America after averaging 42.7 yards per punt. He averaged 40.6 yards per punt during his two-year UA career.

He went on to play 15 years in the NFL with five different teams, most notably the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots. He won the Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2005.
